• Separate waste stream and recyclables
• Separate “green waste” to become compost for local Sonoma County farms, equal to 25% of our entire waste stream
• Cooking and lubricating oil recycling - cooking oil re-processed into bio-diesel
• Dedicated use of energy efficient electrical equipment throughout building
• InnConn thermostat system in guest rooms, regulates heating and cooling by sensor to ensure unoccupied rooms do not waste energy
• Member of Building Energy Coalition of San Francisco, coordinating power flexing during peak need times among the city’s largest commercial users
• Contribute to less waste by: avoiding purchase of individually wrapped amenities, offering reuse program of linens for extended stay guests, holding an environmental purchasing policy and using recycled products
